MICOTRAL is a special anti condensation paint for interiors. Condensation is caused by the water vapour present in the air, that in presence of poor air circulation settles and condenses on the coldest surfaces, typically north-facing walls, corners of ceiling, behind wardrobes. It is exactly in these humid, damp areas where mildew and bacteria grow and develop. MICOTRAL is characterised by the fact that, through the tiny, hollow microspheres of glass present in its composition, is able to give the wall good breathability and maintain a warmer temperature on the surface thus reducing the effect of temperature swings between inside and outside, allowing also a certain saving of energy. These microspheres of glass give the product insulating and sound proofing properties. It can be applied on every kind of wall and in strong presence of water vapour.
